30 Life Lessons for Chapter 30

It's been a while since I made a post, but I wanted to share a few things that I have learned over the years. Here are my top 30 life lessons that I have gathered over my last 30 years on this earth. Enjoy!

1.) I am nothing without God this has become the most important relationship over the years 
2.) Life won’t always turn out as we plan 
3.) You can reuse weave for multiple installs Yass I will no longer be throwing $300 + away with each use
4.) Appreciate moments because you never know when it will be your last with someone 
5.) It is possible to get out of debt it just requires some sacrifices 
6.) Never be afraid to ask for what you want 
7.)Therapy is amazing and it helps you to reclaim your power 
8.) Women need good girlfriends 
9.) Paying for speeding tickets is not fun (I got 6 of them so I have some experience)
10.) Marriage is beautiful and amazing, but it takes work to stay that way 
11.) You don’t have to have it all figured out 
12.) It’s OK to make that move to a new state you will survive and thrive and meet new friends, but it won't necessarily be easy and you may question everything daily for awhile 
13.) It’s OK to switch companies your current company isn’t the only one out there 
14.) Finding healthy outlets is key to maintaining low stress 
15.) Carbs are not your friend, but they still taste amazing 
16.) Travel as much as possible it’s an entire world out there waiting for you to explore 
17.) You have to be intentional and put forth effort in the areas that you want to see success in your life 
18.) You have to learn to fall in love with your own life and not everyone else’s 
19.) It’s OK to keep toxic people at a distance and that includes family members 
20.) Everybody is not your friend 
21.) You cannot sleep when you are dead rest is important 
22.) It’s OK to be the only one or the youngest, but make sure you are paving the way for those that will come behind you 
23.) February continues to be my favorite month of the year not only because it’s my birthday, but also because it’s the month of love, the month we got engaged, and the month to celebrate my blackness! 
24.) The present is truly a gift and staying in the moment is what I am striving to do 
25.) I can’t control other people, situations, or the things that happen to me, but I can control my reactions and that’s where true power comes in 
26.) Don’t waste your time on relationships that are one sided... it’s not worth it especially when there are plenty of people that love you 
27.) Fill your life with activities to look forward to it makes life so much more enriching 
28.) Love like you have never been hurt before because you may be missing out on forming some of the greatest relationships ever 
29.) Try something new often pushing yourself out of your comfort zone helps you to grow 
30.) It’s OK to say no and in some instances a Hell No is even better
